Our story
Caring Today, Building a Better Tomorrow
The story of Care4Nepal began after Nepal’s devastating 2015 earthquake, when many families lost their homes, livelihoods, and sense of security. In 2016, with generous support from Lisa Hans from the USA, we began helping eight children return to school. What started as a small act of kindness grew into a journey of hope and community transformation.
Today
Today, Care4Nepal supports 85 children across four schools, providing tuition fees, uniforms, textbooks, stationery, and educational assistance through the generosity of sponsors and friends in the USA, Austria, and the UK.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who believes in giving children a brighter future.
Beyond education
Our commitment extends beyond education. With support from international partners, we have helped families through goat farming, micro-financing, seasonal and organic vegetable farming, greenhouse and plastic-tunnel support, tailoring training, and beekeeping. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we also provided community relief and organized health camps for older people and school children.
Greener communities
We continue to promote tree plantation, environmental protection, and community development. Every project is an opportunity to build skills, strengthen livelihoods, and help families move towards greater independence.
A story close to our hearts
One particularly meaningful story is that of a girl with a disability whom we have supported in education for four years.
Thanks to the generosity of Christopher and Geri Lynn Dickinson from the USA, she received an operation that has helped her begin walking and moving more easily. Their support has also contributed to community shelter and tree-plantation activities. Her progress reminds us that compassion can change lives.

Looking ahead, Care4Nepal hopes to reach more children, expand sustainable livelihood opportunities, improve access to healthcare, and build stronger, greener communities.
